Pre-owned, excellent condition circa 1910s Edwardian emerald and diamond brooch, crafted in Platinum with delicate openwork and millegrain detailing. At the centre sits a beautiful cabochon-cut Colombian emerald, weighing approximately 3 carats, surrounded by small eight-cut diamonds and flanked by two substantial old-cut diamonds, each weighing approximately 1 carat.
The elongated Platinum design is decorated throughout with further eight-cut diamonds and finished at each tapered end with calibré-cut emeralds, their vibrant green colour complementing the central stone. A beautiful example of late Edwardian jewellery, combining fine craftsmanship with elegant geometric detailing that reflects the emerging Art Deco aesthetic.
